My Story
Get to know me.
I'm DeMichael. An entrepreneur, speaker and coach dedicated to helping you transform your life and career journey.
I grew up in Dallas, Texas — moving around the DFW area, figuring things out as I went. My path wasn't linear and it wasn't traditional. I spent years working in management — warehouse, retail, hospitality, real estate — leading people, navigating pressure, and learning more about human behavior in those environments than I ever could have in a classroom.
But through all of it I was quietly carrying something I couldn't name. A gap between where I was and where I knew I was capable of being. A restlessness that no job title, no new environment, and no amount of hard work ever seemed to close.
I was doing everything I was supposed to do. And something still wasn't adding up.
Maybe you know that feeling.
The Moment Everything Changed
In 2019 I founded One Hundred. But the real story starts years before that — in a delivery car on an ordinary afternoon that turned out to be the most important moment of my life.
I was delivering pizzas. My marriage was falling apart. My life looked nothing like what I had imagined for myself. And every single day I prayed for the same thing.
Just give me peace.
One afternoon between deliveries something stopped me cold. Not the answer I had been asking for. A question.
"You say you want peace. But are you a peaceful person?"
I had to pull over.
Because in that moment I understood something that completely changed the direction of my life. I had been looking everywhere outside myself for something I could only find within. I had been praying for my outside world to change while my inside world stayed exactly the same.
Nothing around me changed that day. But I did. And slowly, completely, everything around me followed.
That moment is the foundation of everything I do.

The Work That Followed
After that shift I went deep. I studied everything I could find about how people actually change — not temporarily but for good. How beliefs, patterns, emotional responses, and programming quietly create the results we're living whether we realize it or not.
I earned my certifications — Professional Certified Life Coach, Professional Certified Career Coach, CBT Life Coach, and Somatic Healing Life Coach. Not because a piece of paper makes the work real. Because I wanted to understand every dimension of what it takes to help someone transform permanently.
I spent years doing the real internal work on myself. The kind that requires you to look honestly at everything you've been carrying and decide what stays and what goes. The kind most people avoid because it's uncomfortable and there's no guarantee of what you'll find.
And then I started helping others do the same.
Where I Work Today
Since founding One Hundred in 2019 I've worked with professionals, entrepreneurs, and growth-minded individuals at every stage of their career and life — helping them identify what's been quietly running their results and change it at the source.
I've sat across from executives whose success was costing them everything. Senior leaders who kept hitting the same invisible ceiling no matter how hard they pushed. Entrepreneurs who built impressive things on the outside while quietly losing themselves in the process. And growth-minded individuals who simply knew there was more available to them and were finally ready to go get it.
Every single one of them had the same thing underneath their story. Not a skills problem. Not a strategy problem. Something running quietly in the background that no external achievement could fix.
When they found it everything changed. Not just the career. The relationships. The confidence. The peace. All of it.
Beyond one on one coaching I bring this work to organizations, teams, and stages. I've served as Head Life Coach for a youth development program within the Dallas Community College District — work that has shaped hundreds of young people at a critical stage of their lives. I speak at universities including the University of Texas and the University of North Texas, and deliver workshops and corporate programs that bring the One Hundred message to the people who need it most.
Why I Do This
I built One Hundred because I know what it costs to carry an unexamined inner world. I know what it feels like to work hard on the outside while something on the inside quietly runs the show. And I know — from my own life and from years of sitting with people at their most honest moments — what becomes possible when that finally shifts.
This isn't a business to me. It's a mission.
One Hundred exists because every professional, every entrepreneur, every person with a dream they haven't fully stepped into yet deserves access to tools built for their unique journey. Not a one size fits all formula. Not surface level motivation. Real work that goes to the root and produces real lasting change.
The most important work you will ever do is the work you do on yourself.
I believe that completely. I've lived it. And I've watched it change the lives of everyone willing to look honestly at the one relationship that shapes everything else.
Our paths have crossed for a reason. And whatever that reason is, it's worth paying attention to.
